Counseling and Psychological Services


Harrison College of Pharmacy student-pharmacists and graduate students have access to counseling and psychological services when they feel they need assistance.

On the Auburn campus, Kayla Neeley can be found in Cary Hall in the Auburn University Psychological Services Center. Regular Business Hours:

  • Students may contact Student Counseling Services (Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.) at 334-844-5123 or come directly to the SCS. Their offices are located on the second floor of the Auburn University Medical Clinic, 400 Lem Morrison Dr., Suite 2086. AUMC is located on the corner of Lem Morrison Dr. and Duncan Dr. Their services are free to all Auburn students.
  • Students may also contact Auburn University Psychological Services Center (Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.- 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.) at 334-844-4889. AUPSC is operated by doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology program. They offer a full range of therapy services (individual and family) on a sliding scale and do not have the same availability as SCS and often have a waiting list. They do not accept insurance, but most student clients pay minimal fees.

After Hours and Weekends/Emergencies:

  • Please note that SCS and AUPSC do not check voicemails on weekends or after hours. If you are experiencing an emergency or crisis situation, you should immediately go to the emergency room of the East Alabama Medical Center, 2000 Pepperell Parkway, Opelika, Alabama, 334-705-0510 or call 911.
  • For other crisis situations, you can also call the EAMC crisis hotline which can be called 24 hours a day (800-815-0630).

Psychological Services Mental Health Workshop

The Auburn University Psychological Services Center – Harrison College of Pharmacy branch is excited to share a mental health workshop about stress management.

In this 35-minute workshop, an experienced doctoral candidate in clinical psychology will guide you through common sources and signs of stress, as well as empirically derived skills that target your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with the goal of reducing stress-related anxiety, depression, and academic burnout.
